The Emelisse beers seem to be quickly becoming favourites, with their big, bold, flavoursome brews. Many follow US-style, though we are dialing back a notch here, with the Saison proving they can do more traditional, subtle styles as well.
The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow gold, with big blond foam. The aroma presents lemon citrus, light malt and a little spice.
The light body and good carbonation highlight lemon and grapefruit citrus flavours. There is an earthy minerality, with a dry and spicy finish. Gentle floral hops provide a mild lingering bitterness.
