The Chouffe Brewery, who have a happy habit of never making anything less than awesome beer. And this beer is no exception.
Brewed for the European winter months, this beer has a dark amber to brown body, with strong notes of raisins, malt, burnt sugar and spicy Belgian yeast. And this happily follows through into the flavour.
Dark fruit sweetness, a solid malt backbone, citrus, floral, grassy hop bitterness all combine so well. A rich a full bodied beer, with a lovely warmth coming from the 10% ABV.
