This beer was the most recent addition to the Funky Fluid core range, which means they are just like virtually every other brewery now!
Well, not really given the weird and wonderful styles they brew, and the sheer volume of new beers constantly being offered by these guys.
Back to the American Pale Ale though, and I must admit that this is a style I tend to move straight past when faced with a brewers list. It isn’t that I don’t like this type of beer, but I always tend to try the lager or pilsner, and then move on to something a little more interesting.
This beer is pretty much what you’d expect. Some light tropical fruit and citrus with a fairly crisp malt body with just a little sweetness carrying a reasonably firm hop bitterness, finishing dry with a lingering bitterness.
It isn’t a beer that you’ll remember forever, but it is very refreshing and easy to drink. And before you know it, your glass will be empty.
