Intro to Belgian Beer

Heard people talking about how good Belgian beers are, but never tried them?

This is the perfect chance to try 6 beers from a country whose beer culture has been recognised by Unesco as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity!

The pack is made up of:

1.  Dubuisson Cuvee des Trolls 7.0% (250ml) - an unfiltered, unpasteurised Belgian lager

2.  Orval 6.2% (330ml) - this Trappist Monastery only makes one beer commercially, and it is a beauty.  A crisp and dry Belgian Pale Ale with wild yeast (Brettanomyces) that comes through stronger as the beer ages

3.  Goedendag Donker 7.5% (330ml) - a dark ale from a home brewer turned commercial brewer is a rich balance of dark stone fruits and roasted malts

4.  Achel Blond 8.0% (330ml) - a Belgian Tripel style beer from the smallest of Belgium's Trappist Monasteries

5.  Rochefort 8  9.2% (330ml) - a malty Belgian Strong Dark Ale for another Belgian Trappist Monastery, because of the nature of the water from their well they only produce dark beers

6.  Delirium Noel 10% (330ml) -Christmas is the time Belgians look forward to the special seasonal Christmas beers, strong dark and lightly spiced - they are like Christmas pudding in liquid form

Click on each beer for the tasting notes, and a little information on the brewery and/or beer style.

Price includes delivery to Newcastle/Lake Macquarie addresses only.
